Raytheon Awarded F/A-18 E/F Aircraft Support Deal

Raytheon Co., El Segundo, California, is being awarded a $40,9 million firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement for the procurement of 15 AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array Radar Systems in support of the F/A-18 E/F aircraft.

 

Work will be performed in Forest, Mississippi (50 percent); Andover, Massachusetts (30 percent); and El Segundo, California (20 percent); and is expected to be completed in November 2016.

Fiscal 2012 and 2014 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $40,950,000 are being obligated on this award, $10,920,000 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
