The crew enjoyed liberty and the opportunity to participate in a community relations (COMREL) event at a local school during the four-day port visit.

The COMREL took place at the Bradenton Preparatory Academy in Dubai. Sailors helped the staff move hundreds of pieces of furniture and school supplies in preparation for the new school year.

Philippine Sea is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
