USS Ingraham Promotes and Awards Sailors

USS Ingraham assembled her crew on the flight deck to congratulate several Sailors and Coast Guardsmen on their well-deserved promotions, Aug. 29.

 

“Promotion and awards ceremonies are some of the best parts of my job,” said Cmdr. Dan Straub, USS Ingraham’s commanding officer. “I get the opportunity to see my crew rewarded for all their long hours and hard work.”

During the promotion ceremony, USS Ingraham also celebrated the promotion of Electronics Technician Jordan Craighead to 3rd class as well as two U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment (LEDET) 101 personnel to 2nd class petty officer.

In addition, six Sailors were awarded their Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) qualification.

Ingraham is deployed in support of Operation Martillo, an international and interagency effort that targets illicit trafficking in coastal waters along the Central American isthmus.
