Russian Yaroslav Mudry Docks in Port of Salalah

Neustrashimy class frigate “Yaroslav Mudry” (727) of the Russian Navy’s Baltic Fleet (BF) has made ​​a visit at the port of Salalah (Oman) to replenish food and water supplies.

 

The vessel will be docked at the port until September 13. Afterwards the crew will continue to perform security operations in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

“Yaroslav Mudry” departed the main naval base of Baltiysk on 9 August. During the deployment the vessel sailed more than 5 thousand nautical miles, and visited the Spanish Ceuta port on the Mediterranean coast of Africa and the port of Valletta in Malta.
