Sailors remove chocks and chains from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 as it prepares to take off from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42).

Germantown is part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is conducting joint forces exercises in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
