BAE Systems Bags USS Scout Modifications Contract

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $7,8 million modification to a previously awarded contract for USS Scout (MCM-08) fiscal 2014 selected restricted availability.

 

An SRA includes planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by March 2015.

Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $7,807,207 will be obligated at time of award, and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
