BRP Ramon Alcaraz Leaves for KAKADU 2014

BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PF-16) departed from Subic Bay, Zambales on Aug. 17, 2014 to participate in the multilateral naval exercise dubbed as “KAKADU 2014” that will be hosted by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) at Northern Australia Exercise Area.

 

180 Philippine Navy personnel, including the crew of PF 16, the crew of PN helicopter Augusta Westland PNH431, medical team, and the exercise directorate, will participate in the exercise.

KAKADU is the largest international maritime exercise hosted biennially by RAN and represents an opportunity to promote and enhance regional interoperability and cooperation among the participating navies.
