A fire that broke out on the Australian Navy’s patrol vessel HMAS Bundaberg was contained.

The Armidale class patrol boat caught on fire at around noon while undergoing maintenance repairs in Brisbane dry dock.

The fire was located around 10 metres in from the stern of the ship in the generator area.

No injuries were reported at the scene of the incident, and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
