Colombian Navy Rescues Four Fishermen

The Colombian Navy rescued four fishermen whose craft went adrift while they were fishing in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean approximately 11 kilometers from the coast of Puerto Colombia.

Their vessel, “Colombia 28”, suffered a failure in the electrical system without a chance of starting the engine.

Coast Guard Station Barranquilla started search and rescue operations immediately after it was notified of the fishermen’s situation.

The fishermen along with the boat were transferred to safer waters in the bay of Puerto Velero.
