Colombian Navy Seizes 505 Kilograms of Cocaine

The Colombian Navy, together with the Colombian Air Force, seized 505 kilograms of cocaine in an operation against drug trafficking.

 

The operation took place approximately 70 nautical miles north of Santa Marta – Magdalena, where units of the Navy and aircraft of the Colombian Air Force detected and intercepted a boat carrying the cargo of alkaloids.

Approximately 13 million dollars worth of cocaine was discovered aboard the ARC “August 7” vessel and the three men were arrested. The materials and the arrested people were transported to the Coast Guard Station Santa Marta.
