The U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, fly in the Diamond Formation during the Defenders of Freedom Open House and Air Show at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.

 

The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform 68 demonstrations at 34 locations across the U.S. in 2014.

The Blue Angels is the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron which was formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world. The Blue Angels’ six demonstration pilots fly the F/A-18 Hornet throughout the United States each year.
