HMCS Toronto to Join NATO Reassurance Measures

Canadian Defence Minister Rob Nicholson will announce the immediate deployment of HMCS Toronto to join NATO Reassurance measures.

 

The announcement will be made on Thursday at Canadian Forces Base Halifax Dockyard, from where the vessel will set sail for the Mediterranean Sea.

HMCS Toronto will be replacing HMCS Regina, which has been part of Standing NATO Maritime Forces since May 2014.
