Sri Lanka Navy Helps People in Distress

Sri Lanka Navy rescued 5 Indian who were in distress in the seas off Nainativu Island on 17th July 2014.

 

The rescued persons were handed over to Kayts police for further action.

On many occasions, Sri Lanka Navy has rescued Indian fishermen in distress on humanitarian grounds.
