USS Shiloh Leaves Singapore

The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) departed Singapore following a scheduled port visit from June 25-29.

 

Capt. Kurush Morris, Shiloh’s commanding officer, said: “The port visit allowed us to experience the cultural diversity of the people of Singapore, work with the Singapore Navy, and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.”

While in port, Sailors took part in a variety of activities that allowed them to meet with the people of Singapore and they also had the opportunity to participate in a community relations (COMREL) project.

Shiloh is currently on patrol with the George Washington Carrier Strike Group in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
