Philippine Naval Forces Conduct Readiness Inspection

The Philippine Naval Forces Northern Luzon, through its Regional Disaster Response Task Group 1 (RDRTG-1), conducted its annual Operational Readiness Inspection in partnership with the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) Region 1 on July 4, 2014.

 

The activity conducted at the Naval Station Ernesto Ogbinar Grandstand, which was co-presided by Commodore Nodolfo V Tejada, Commander of NFNL and Regional Director Melchito M. Castro of OCD Region 1, aims to determine their readiness for deployment as the typhoon season approaches.

The Naval Forces Northern Luzon is the only Naval Operating Force of the Philippine Navy that conducts this kind of activity in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense under its area of operations.
