Sri Lanka Navy Arrests Indian Fishermen

Sri Lanka Naval Craft attached to the North Central Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 20 Indian fishermen and 4 Indian fishing trawlers poaching in Sri Lankan waters North of Mannar on 05th July 2014.

 

The arrested fishermen and the trawlers were handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Mannar for legal action.
