Lockheed Martin Gets F-35 Components Delivery Contract

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $18,3 million modification to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive (firm target) contract for the procurement and delivery of electronic components needed to support F-35 production, sustainment, and operations and maintenance requirements.

 

Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in March 2016.

Fiscal 2012 and 2014 aircraft procurement, Navy and Air Force funds, and fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance, Navy and Air Force funds, in the amount of $18,369,619 will be obligated at time of award, of which $15,399,162 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Air Force ($9,346,195; 51 percent); U.S. Navy ($7,135,231; 39 percent); and international partners ($1,888,193; 10 percent).

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
