HMS Brocklesby to Dock at Isle of Man

Royal UK Navy warship HMS Brocklesby will arrive in the Isle of Man on Tuesday 1 July for five days.

HMS Brocklesby is a Hunt-class mine countermeasures vessel (MCMV) and will be alongside at Victoria Pier in Douglas from Tuesday until Saturday. She will be open to visit from 10am until 1pm on July 2, 3 and 4.

This offers the Isle of Man public a unique opportunity to go aboard, learn more about the career opportunities in the Royal Navy, and get a glimpse of life on a warship.

HMS Brocklesby recently returned from an operational deployment in the Mediterranean where she worked as part of a multinational mine counter-measures task force. Ships from allied nations work together throughout the year defending sea routes from the threat of underwater mines and carry our joint training exercises.
