Djibouti Delegation Tours OPV ‘Chilreu’ and Navantia Shipyards

A delegation from Djibouti led by its Defense Minister Hassan Darar Houffaneh, accompanied by a the Director General of Weapons and Materiel, Lieutenant General Juan Manuel García Montaño, have paid a visit to the oceanic patrol vessel (OPV) ‘Chilreu’ and to Navantia Shipyards in Ferrol.

They were welcomed by the Arsenal Chief, Vice-admiral Manuel Garat Caramé and were honored by a Military Guard company. After a short briefing on the OPV, the delegation was toured around the different ship’s compartments.

After visiting the ‘Chilreu’, Hassan Darar Houffaneh, accompanied by Vice-admiral Garat proceeded to visit Navantia’s facilities.
