Bahamas First Damen Stan Patrol Vessel on the Way

On the 18th of March 2014 Damen signed contracts with the Government of the Bahamas – Ministry of National Security on behalf of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) for a package of four (4) DAMEN Stan Patrol 4207, four (4) DAMEN Stan Patrol 3007 and one (1) DAMEN RoRo 5612.


Furthermore, in cooperation with dredging company Van Oord, Damen will upgrade port facilities at Coral Harbour, New Providence and on the islands of Great Inagua and Ragged Island.

Subsequent to the signing of the contracts a visit was made to DAMEN by the Minister of National Security – the Hon. Dr. Bernard Nottage together with Cdre. Roderick Bowe (Commander Defence Force) on which occasion the first vessel “HMBS Arthur Dion Hanna” was accepted and since has commenced its delivery voyage, expecting to arrive in Nassau, New Providence on the 19th May 2014.
