Ukrainian Missile Cutter Pryluky Finishes First Sailing after Redeployment

The Ukrainian Navy’s missile cutter Pryluky (U153) has completed the first sailing after redeployment from Sevastopol, Ukraine.

The ship has been redeployed to Odesa from Sevastopol due to the ongoing political situation in the country. She was blocked by the Russian military in March and was the first ship to leave Crimea.

The ship’s crew was newly formed and its primary task was to ensure the ship’s good performance and interoperability between new members. Once onboard, the crew inspected the functioning of technical sub-assemblies, particularly the main power unit, radio technical systems, communication equipment etc.

Pryluky’s Commander, Capt. Lt. Pavlo Rudya, said that all tasks were successfully accomplished and that the personnel will enhance their skills on each new sailing.
