The U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic awarded Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) a task order to provide a wide variety of support services for the Distributed Common Ground System – Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) Integrated Project Team.

The single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order has a one-year period of performance and a total contract value of more than $13 million if all options are exercised. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) System of Systems Engineering and Integration (SoSEI) contracting vehicle and work will be performed in Charleston, S.C.

DCGS-MC links intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems to U.S. Marine Corps analysts and other military services to provide capabilities for enterprise search, content discovery, collaboration, and workflow management. Under this task order, SAIC will provide support for program management, production engineering, integrated logistics, technical data package development, and testing.

“SAIC is excited to expand our current SSC Atlantic C5ISR SoSEI support to include the USMC and the DCGS-MC system,” said Tom Watson, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the Navy and Marine Corps Customer Group. “Our goal is to support the DCGS-MC’s mission to improve system capabilities and interoperability with other services in support of our SSC-Atlantic and USMC customers.”
