Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa and President of the Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa visited the Navy stall at Deyata Kirula – 2014 on 27th February.
They were received by Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage and President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Srima Colombage. The Secretary of Defence admired the Navy exhibition stall which has drawn the attention of many visiting the mega National Development Exhibition.
Chief of Defence Staff, General Jagath Jayasooriya, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Daya Rathnayaka and Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Jayantha Perera and Commander North Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Dayananda Nanayakkara were also present on the occasion.
