The US Navy warship USS Pinckney will arrive in Manila, the Philippines today, the Inquirer reported.
This will be the second visit to the Philippines of the US Navy ships this year, following USS Shiloh, which arrived in the Philippines on 31 January for restocking.
The US Embassy said in a statement that the ship would arrive in Manila for a routine port call.
During the visit, USS Pinckney will replenish supplies and her crew will get an opportunity to relax.
The ship left her homeport in San Diego on January 7 and deployed to the Pacific to conduct maritime security operations and training.
She will stay in Manila until 11 February, the US Embassy said.
