The Royal Australian Navy’s Warship, HMAS Darwin, sailed towards a meteorological phenomenon, where Alto Cumulus clouds formed lines across the sky, due to wind sheer caused by one high pressure system following another.

 

The image was taken during HMAS Darwin’s sail to the Operation Slipper.
