Naval troops attached to SLNS Wasaba of the Northern Naval Command rescued 4 Indian fishermen who had been victimized fot the seas west of Delft Island on 05th December 2013.
Their fishing boat had capsized while engaged in fishing due to an engine failure. The rescued fishermen were transferred ashore by the naval personnel and provided them with medical treatment and food. They were handed over to Delft Police for further investigations.
