Hetman Sahaydachnyi Rests in Salalah after NATO Anti-Piracy Patrol

Ukrainian frigate Hetman Sahaydachnyi, participating in the NATO Ocean Shield counter-piracy operation, completed its fourth patrolling in the Gulf of Aden and on December 4 the ship entered the Salalah port (Oman).

On this occasion, some servicemen got awards for their decisive actions and professionalism.

From November 24 through December 4, the personnel of the national contingent accomplished tasks in the defined areas of the Gulf of Aden.

On November 28, the medical staff of the Hetman Sahaydachny frigate executed an appendectomy aboard the ship.

On November 30, Commodore Henning Amundsen, commander of tactical group of the Ocean Shield visited the ship.

Now, the frigate is in Salalah Port and is going to be replenished and receive some logistical support.
