Cantabria Leaves Indian Port of Mormugao

Spanish fleet replenishment ship ‘Cantabria’ has just departed from the Indian port of Mormugao in Goa, the second scheduled port of call after Jakarta.

During the 10-day cruise from Indonesia to the former Portuguese colony, the ship carried out a series of maintenance works and operational drills in anticipation of the intense program of activities during the two days in Goa.

The ‘Cantabria’ was welcomed by an Indian Navy music band. During her stay the Spanish Ambassador in India visited the ship and also several military and local authorities. There was an open doors day and a reception organized on board.
