Naval personnel attached to SLN Dockyard of the Eastern Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 24 persons with 4 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing using purse seine nets on 19 th October 2013 in the seas off Dutch Bay in Trincomalee.

The arrested persons along with the recovered items were handed over to the Fisheries Department officials in Trincomalee for legal action.
