Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of 66 Indian fishermen on 2 nd October 2013.

The fishermen were handed over to the Indian Coast Guard Ship “Raj Tharang” at the International Maritime Boundary Line off Thalaimannar by Sri Lanka Navy Ship “Udara” attached to the Northern Naval Command and two SLN Inshore Patrol Craft attached to North Central Naval Command also assisted the mission.
