FLIR Receives PB-EOS Support Contract from US Navy

FLIR Systems, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, to support the Patrol Boat Electro-Optics System (PB-EOS) program for the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy.

The contract is valued at $49.9 million and is for a variant of FLIR’s® recently introduced SeaFLIR® 280-HD maritime electro-optical/infrared imaging system. These advanced imaging systems provide critical capability to enhance navigation, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

Work under this award is expected to be performed out of FLIR’s facility in Billerica, MA, and is expected to be completed by September 2018.
