TTS Handling Systems AS Pens Contract with Brazilian Navy

TTS Group ASA has, through its subsidiary TTS Handling Systems AS – a company in the Port & Logistics Division – signed a new contract in Brazil for a total value of approximately 130 MNOK.

This is the sixth TTS shiplift contract in succession and sees the company establishing a leading position in the shiplift market.

The turnkey contract comprises the design, manufacturing, transportation, installation and commissioning of an 8000 ton shiplift for the Brazilian Navy. Designed for handling of submarines, the delivery also includes the provision of a 110m long, 20m wide platform together with its operational and control systems.

The equipment deliveries will be completed in 2015.
