BMT Group Ltd, the leading international design, engineering and risk management consultancy will showcase its capabilities and designs across the naval, land and air domains at the prestigious DSEI event, to be held at London’s ExCeL in September. This will include the launch of two new and exciting concept designs, reinforcing BMT’s reputation to deliver cutting edge solutions for the defence market.

With over 25 years’ experience working in the defence domain, BMT’s capabilities include the development of innovative, naval platform designs, as well as acquisition support, in-service support and maintenance, life extension and combat systems. The BMT Group stand will showcase both new and existing platform designs complemented by novel, interactive features developed by in-house software specialists. Delegates visiting the show will also have the opportunity to engage with BMT’s technical specialists and discuss the specific challenges they face.

David Bright, Sector Director for Defence at BMT Group Ltd explains: “ DSEI is the perfect platform for BMT to engage with both existing and future customers from around the world and enhance our global reputation for maritime design. The event also helps us to cement our land consulting engineering offering, as well as maintain a high profile for UK technical support, reinforcing our ability to not only understand the complex challenges our customers face, but develop and deliver cost effective solutions.”

BMT has enjoyed continued success since DSEI 2011, including the recent Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category following a number of major projects wins, including programmes with the UK Ministry of Defence, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and most recently the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation for their Logistics and Support Vessel (LSV), which will be built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME).
