Three More US Patrol Ships Arrive in Bahrain

Patrol Coastal (PC) ships USS Tempest (PC 2), USS Squall (PC 7) and USS Thunderbolt (PC 12) arrived pierside in Bahrain July 3, as part of a realignment that will see a total of eight PCs permanently stationed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR).

Camouflage Painting of USS Fort Worth Completed

The camouflage painting of USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) was completed at Naval Base San Diego graving dock June 28. Workers applied a paint scheme that differs from that used on Fort Worth’s sister ship USS Freedom (LCS 1).
