Philippine Navy Hosts Chief of Indonesian Naval Staff

Filipino hospitality was made known once again on May 27, 2013, when the Philippine Navy showed a warm welcome to Admiral Marsetio, Chief of Naval Staff of the Indonesian Navy (CNS,IN) who visited the country together with his wife and staff members.

The program and activities included  within the framework of the visit were successfully carried out through the efforts of PN Units in Manila and Cavite. The arrival of honors was conducted at the Headquarters of the Philippine Navy with the FOIC, PN as the military host. FOIC, PN also hosted a dinner in honor of the CNS, IN and a party at Shangri-La Plaza Hotel-Makati. A wreath laying ceremony was also conducted at the Rizal Monument, Luneta Park.

The visit included the following activities as well:  Courtesy Call of the FOIC, PN at HPN Hall of Flags; awarding of Honorary Flag Rank Command Badge, PN Organizational Briefing at the Headquarters of the Philippine Navy; Courtesy Calls on the CSAFP and SND; Golf Game and a Departure Honors during the departure of CNS, IN.
