Sri Lanka: Kantale Malima Lake Front Rest Declared Open

Secretary of Defence & Urban Development, Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa declared open the Malima Lake Front Rest at Kantale on 19^th April 2013. Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage, Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Damayantha Dharmasiriwardene and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Rohan Amarasinghe were also present on the occasion.

The Lake View Lighthouse has been made renovating the former rest house at Kantale by the Sri Lanka Navy. It offers clients access to a range of facilities at an affordable price. The venue is endowed with a panoramic view and the facility is equipped with modern amenities for a multitude of functions.
