Iranian Warships Return Home

Iranian warships have finished their mission in the Pacific Ocean and came back home on Thursday, April 4th, according to Fars News Agency.

The Iranian Navy’s 24th fleet of warships, membered by Khark chopper carrier and Sabalan destroyer, arrived in Southern Iran after completing the 72-day mission, which started in late January.

The mission goal was to patrol and safeguard the region from the potential threats.

The Navy’s commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari pointed out that the mission was among the most important tasks carried out by the fleet.

During their deployment, Iranian ships identified 370 surface and subsurface vessel units, traced and detected 1,180 trade and oil vessels and monitored the moves of over 120 military units.
