Sri Lanka Navy Arrests Six Illegal Immigrants

Naval troops attached to SLNS Gajaba of the North Central Naval Command arrested six (6) persons who had attempted to illegally enter Sri Lanka from India. The arrest was made with the assistance of P 151 and P 149 in the General Area 06th Sand Dune in the seas off Thalai-mannar on 03rd March 2013.

Naval troops attached to SLNS Gajaba of the North Central Naval Command arrested six (6) persons who had attempted to illegally enter Sri Lanka from India.

The arrest was made with the assistance of P 151 and P 149 in the General Area 06th Sand Dune in the seas off Thalai-mannar on 03 rd March 2013. The group consisted of 4 Sri Lankans and 2 Indians.

The arrested persons were handed over to Thalai-mannar Police for further investigations.
