Naval troops attached to SLNS Thambapanni of the North-western Naval Command with the assistance of Puttalam Police arrested a person with 1,120 illegal cigarettes and 960 modaka mixed with cannabis in the Puttalam lagoon area on 27th February 2013.
The arrested person with the items was handed over to Puttalam Police for further investigations.
