At the beginning of February Rear Admiral Antonio NATALE welcomed RADM Vladimir Nikolayevich Vdovenko, Commander of Russian Federation Pacific Fleet Task Group on board the NATO flagship ITS San Marco.
The meeting was a useful opportunity to discuss naval operations and in particular where there are common procedures in regard to counter piracy operations.
After the meeting, Admiral NATALE said “ we were able to share our experiences about counter piracy. Nowadays we have to face many new security challenges and it makes perfect sense for countries to work together like us today.”
