The visiting US delegation comprising Deputy Assistant Secretary of State James Moore, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Vikram Singh and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Jane Zimmerman accompanied by US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Her Excellency Michelle J. Sison and US Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Schuler called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage at the Naval Headquarters on 28th January 2013.
They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests and bilateral importance. Mementos were also exchanged on the occasion as a gesture of goodwill.
