Sri Lanka: Special Boat Squadron Arrests 3 Persons

Special Boat Squadron personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command arrested 3 persons who had swum on to the Kachchatheevu island on 07th September 2012.

They had 8 mobile phones, 19 SIM cards, Rs. 10,650/= in Indian currency and Rs. 7,120/= in Sri Lankan currency in their possession.

The trio, who are residents of Madu, Kodikamam and Kilinochchi, were handed over to the Terrorist Investigation Department (Jaffna) for further investigations.
