Russia: Serbank Approves Two USD 509.8 Million Loans for Severnaya Verf Shipyard

State-owned Sberbank has approved two $ 509.8 Mln loans for the Severnaya Verf shipyard, United Shipbuilding Corporation subsidiary, to be used in the construction of Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates. State-owned Sberbank has approved two $ 509.8 Mln loans for the Severnaya Verf shipyard, United Shipbuilding Corporation subsidiary, to be used in the construction of Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates.

Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates also known as Project 22350 are designed by Northern Design Construction Bureau.

Total displacement of a Project 22350 ship is 4,500 tons; length is 130 meters; beam is 16 meters; draft is 4.5 meters; speed is 29 knots; crew is 210. Armament: 130-mm gun mount A-192; 8 anti-ship missiles 3M55 Onyx; 8 Medvedka-2 ASW missiles; 24 missiles of Uragan SAM system; Ka-32 helicopter.

At present, Severnaya Verf is building four Project 20380 corvettes, two Project 22350 frigates, and a Project 18280 special communication vessel for the Russian Navy.
