ANADOLU Shipyard (ADIK) Defense Group Coordinator (Ret) Admiral Metin Poyrazlar and CEO Ertuğ Yaşar have visited Chilean Ambassador to Ankara H.E. Jorge ARANCIBIA and Chilean Defense Attaché Juan E.Gonzales Fuentealba on May 4th 2012.

During the visit, Admiral Poyrazlar and Mr. Yaşar briefed Chilean Ambassador and Military Attaché talked about the activities of ANADOLU Shipyard, the 8 vessel LCT project for Turkish Navy, 2 vessel LST project for Turkish Navy and international marketing activities.

Chilean Chief Navy Commander Admiral Edmundo Gonzales Robles paid a visit to Turkey in April 2012. During this visit, Chilean CNC has also visited Gölcük Navy Shipyard where he had the opportunity to board TCG Ç-151, the First LCT built and delivered by ANADOLU Shipyard to Turkish Navy.

Admiral Gonzales Robles has expressed his admiration about the vessel and a possible need by the Chilean Navy to source such vessels for his country which is known as the owner of one of the longest coast lines in the world.
