US Navy EOD Appointed as VideoRay LLC’s Business Development Manager

Mark W. Fleming to Build on VideoRay’s Dominance in New Underwater Observation Technology for Force Protection.

Mark W. Fleming has been appointed to the newly created position as VideoRay LLC’s Business Development Manager for Military and Government sales. He will be responsible for building on VideoRay’s extensive network of underwater solutions for Ship Hull Pier / Dock Inspection and Response. VideoRay Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are the most popular systems worldwide for “micro or mini” sized remotely operated vehicles.

During his thirty years in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Fleming worked in a wide variety of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Mobile units, serving with distinction in the U.S., Europe, Pacific, and Middle East. His most recent position was the Requirements and Asymmetrical Warfare Officer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group ONE, at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. Before accepting a position at VideoRay, he analyzed the market served, solutions offered, and customer experience of active duty VideoRay system users.

“I’m excited and honored by this opportunity” said Mr. Fleming. “VideoRay has the best tools for the rapid deployment and effective response required by Port Security and EOD underwater detection. I am looking forward to taking these solutions to the next level in terms of deployment within both the U.S. and other military and coast guard units, and leading the development of more powerful and versatile capabilities.”

“Mark’s experience is invaluable to us” said Chris Gibson, VideoRay’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “He not only understands field requirements in detail, but he also knows how the military thinks, evaluates, develops, purchases, and deploys new technology. With Mark guiding our efforts, we are assured of continued success.”

Mark will be working from a new office that VideoRay is opening in San Diego, California.
