Lynx-Helicopter to Arrive in Netherlands

The Lynx-helicopter which has been sitting on the beach in the Libyan town of Sirte was transported to the capital, Tripoli, on 27 February 2012.

There, the helicopter will be prepared for civilian transport to the Netherlands.The Lynx is no longer airworthy and will be dismantled and scrapped. The Libyan authorities are assisting in the return of the helicopter.
