Sri Lanka CG Assists in Repatriation of Ten Sri Lankan Fishermen

Sri Lanka Coast Guard assisted in the repatriation of ten (10) Sri Lankan fishermen, who were released from the Indian custody.

The fishermen and two (02) fishing boats named “Proboth – 2” and “Mayomi” were handed over to CG officials by the Indian Coast Guard Ship, ICGS Ranijindan, at the Indo-Sri Lanka International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) in the seas north of Kankasanthurei on 17th December 2011. Sri Lanka Coast Guard Vessel CG 41 carried out the mission.
