BAE Systems Receives USD 58.23 Million TRIDENT II Contract

BAE Systems, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $58,238,299 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to provide Systems Engineering Integration support for the TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Program and the SSGN Attack Weapon System (AWS) Program and Ohio Replacement Program and United Kingdom Successor Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program. 

This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the contract value to $123,319,899.

Work will be performed in Rockville, Md. (70 percent); Washington, D.C.  (20 percent); St. Mary’s, Ga. (5 percent); Bangor, Wash. (4 percent); and Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, United Kingdom (1 percent), and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2012.  With the options exercised, the work will continue through Sept. 30, 2013.  Contract funds in the amount of $38,266,075 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

This contract was not competitively procured.  The Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00012-C-0009).
