India: Students from Jammu and Kashmir Visit Southern Naval Command

20 boys from the state of Jammu and Kashmir escorted by their teachers visited Kochi from 15th to 17th September. The boys are on an all India tour under the aegis of the Indian Army with the aim of exposing them to the diversity, progress and strength of their country.

Five personnel from the Army including an Officer are accompanying the children. The students and their teachers were hosted by  Southern Naval Command during their stay at Kochi.

At  Kochi,  the  students  were  taken  around  places  of  interest  including Athirappilly waterfalls, Bolgatty Palace, Hill Palace Museum and Marine Drive. In addition, the boys also visited INS Sarvekshak of Southern Naval Command.
