Swedish Coast Guard has announced tender for repair and maintenance works to the Swedish Coastguard vessel “KBV 465”, comprising a complete overhaul including mechanical as well as electrical systems.
The Swedish Coast Guard is a civilian authority under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence. The overall aims of the Coast Guard are decided by the Swedish Parliament while the government takes decisions on more detailed aspects.
The Swedish Coast Guard supervises, rescues and provides assistance at sea, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year along the entire Swedish costline. It is a national civilian authority under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence. The overall aims of the Coast Guard are decided by the Swedish Parliament while the government takes decisions on more detailed aspects.
